About Laurie Brokenshire
Cold swimming since ”birth”… (well almost! started with Port of Plymouth SA ”early season” training in freezing cold sea water, outdoor pool, from about 1960, aged 8-9 yrs).
Swum ever since, largely in pools (eventually became covered & heated!).
Short & long distance swims/races throughout. (eg Fairmile Buoy, Lake Bala)
Solo Channel swim 1986 (CSA recorded).
Daily skins mile in Solent since Oct 2014 with Shack Sharks (last year wet-suited Jan-Mar – shame on me!)
