On Saturday, 27 January 2018, swimmers from around the world will head to Armagh in Northern Ireland for an IISA World Cup event. The event will be staged at Wild Water Armagh, AKA Conroy’s Pond, a two-lane wide, 25-meter long, purpose-built outdoor winter swimming venue that has hosted the IISA Ireland National Championship 1K races over the past few years. Located about 40 miles southwest of Belfast, this is THE site for some serious cold water swimming. (Rumor has it this event offers some of the best craic in Ireland!)
