Oliver Halder and his WOW team invite you to ring in the New Year in icy style at the 4th annual Ice Swimming German Open, to be held 5 – 7 January 2018 in Veitsbad, a year-round outdoor pool in the town of Veitsbronn, near Nuremberg in central Germany. Offering events from 50 meters to 1,000 meters, there’s a race here for everyone. And the most exciting part is that this event is part of the international Ice Cup for the 2017/2018 season, so points earned in this competition will count towards your Ice Cup season total. (Actually, getting to meet the event's life-sized snowman mascot Burgi is actually the most exciting part!) This is a great swimming event with an awesome party attached, so don't miss it!
