Ice Flash from Down Under

Welcome to our new Ice Swimmer - Wyatt Song

Our First Ice Miler in Australia.

Wyatt has been training in Icy waters from Tyumen to Murmansk to Finland and Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentinean Patagonia.

Wyatt has found a frozen lake in the Mountains of Victoria and as it deforested in the past few weeks Wyatt jumped on the opportunity to finally claim the first Ausi Ice Swimmer.

Winter is approaching in the North and the Ice is calling.

You may have noticed that we changed the WARM Membership to COOL after big and lengthy debate. We received proposals to change it to HOT or COOL and COOL won at the end.

Lots is happening in IISA

First of all welcome to Henri “Ice Machine” Karma who joined IISA bird to add his experience to the frozen ones.

Second we have announced our first World Champ in Murmansk Russia – this is a huge step for IISA which requires lots of preparation in safety and facilities but is bound to be absolutely wonderful experience.

We had a long and hard look at our rules, safety and the new events. We have made some changes and improvements as our sport continues to evolve and learn form its experiences.

We are busy upgrading our website. The new website should be up and running September this year. We are looking to automate the application process online. Every swim will receive some space to describe the swim, pics and videos. We are also setting up a forum where we will all be able to debate and share our experiences.
